BIOGRAPHY

Supplication was formed in Spring of 1997, A Grateful Dead tribute band to remember the Dead and their music.

Prior to 1997 Dan Hagan (from Puzzle Head), and Ken Schmid (from Alien Wales) decided to form a new band, a Grateful Dead Tribute band, Dan and Ken started playing with other local musician's to fill in the gaps until they found the right bunch of guys to join Supplication. By 1998 Supplication found an old friend, bass player Joe Philibotte and Keyboardist Ben Tallman (Northbound Train). In 2000 Tom Woodward (Mighty Colors & Alien Wales) joins as their drummer. In 2002 We asked our good friend Steve Martin (Elastic Waist Band) to join Supplication as our 2nd Drummer. In 2003 Jeff Marchand (Mighty Colors) replaces Tom and  joins the band as Supplication's new drummer. In summer of 2006 Willie Walker (Mighty Colors) replaces Ben as Supplication's new keyboardist. In spring of 2007 Jim Dobens replaces Will on Keys.

   On Sunday August 14, 2005 a tragedy occurred in the Supplication family. Our good friend and brother Ken Schmid tragically lost his life when he fell from his Harley Davidson in Hudson, NH. Ken touched the lives of  so many people, personally and musically, he will be dearly missed.

Over the past 10 years Supplication has played in local night clubs, private parties and festivals throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
